A list of loosely defined principles:

• People are the most important thing.
• Trust is the most important thing.
• Time is the most important thing.

• Take your hands out of your pockets.
  • Deal with the mess.
  • Be messy.

• Tell me what you know.
• Tell me what you don't know.
• Then tell me what you think.
• Always distinguish which from which.^[2]

• Change is a feedback loop.
• Impact is a calculus.

• Always leave things better than you found it.^[3]

• Be nice.

• You are either:
  • Taking things too personally.
  • Not taking things personally enough.

• Do your life's work.

• Just listen.

• Just learn how to get stuff done.
